Nell Tyler wants to make music with a difference, and make a difference with music. Drawing inspiration from the daily struggles of love, loss, and life with disability, Nell’s music will hit you where it hurts, but kiss you better afterwards. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes heart-breaking, always honest, Nell sings the quiet part out loud and gives you a peek inside a mind that doesn’t quite have it all together, but is determined to face life with a song.
In 2025, Nell released ‘Under My Roof’, an album entirely recorded and produced at their cottage on the Mid North Coast. It is a selection of nine songs that are part of their regular set lists, as well as one CD exclusive, available on the physical album or the Bandcamp digital download.

Nell has previously made a name for themselves as a well-loved busker in the Wingham and Taree area, and now, as a duo with bassist Ethan Webster, has brought their storytelling songwriting and musical blend of folk-pop-blues to venues such as the Australian Hotel in Wingham and the Flow Bar in Old Bar.
